Mr. Hu Jintao, the President of People’s Republic of China inspected the Institute of Physico-Chemical Engineering, CNNC on Oct. 2. President Hu’s group inspected the experimental workshop and heard the briefing about research/production conditions made by Mr. Kang Rixin, the president of CNNC and Director Lei Zengguang, Chief Engineer Zhang Zhizhong of the Institute of Physico-Chemical Engineering. President Hu listened to the reports carefully, made questions at times and was delighted with the progress gained by this institute. Then President Hu visited the central control room and mechanical/electronic examination workshop, made sincerely regards to and shook hands with personnel working here. President Hu said: “We are heartened up by your research production, and hope all of you make great efforts continuously”.
