According to the Ministry of Land and Resources in November 2012, the domestic largest scale in-situ leachable sandstone uranium deposit in China was found, which marks an important breakthrough in uranium exploration at Daying region in central Inner Mongolia .Combined with previous survey results, the controlled uranium resources added up in this region make it a world-class large uranium mine. This is of great importance to increase uranium supply based on domestic resources and secure resources supply for nuclear power development in China.
