On July 24-26, 2012, the joint commissioning team of Sanmen Nuclear Power Corp. has successfully finished the blowdown for the first nuclear island subsystem (spraying circle pipe in the cover head of the steel containment) of Unit 1. The spraying circle pipe is a part of the anti-seismic standpipe of the fire protection system (FPS) in the containment.
