Xu Dazhe, Chairman of CAEA, met with Ernest Moniz, U.S. DOE Secretary, in Vienna on September 13 during the sideline of the IAEA 59th General Conference.

The two sides reached extensive consensus after discussions on issues such as China-US nuclear security cooperation, the construction of China-US Center of Excellence on Nuclear Security, HEU to LEU conversion for MNSR, AP1000 projects, nuclear liability issue as well as the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action( JCPOA) related to Iranian nuclear issue.
