The 56th IAEA general conference was held at IAEA headquarters in Vienna on September 17, 2012. The CAEA Secretary General Wang Yiren made a presentation at the conference, in which he expounded the Chinese policy on nuclear safety and nuclear energy development. Wang stressed that nuclear safety is the life-line of nuclear energy development.
