On July 23, 2012, at the first international training workshop on the science and technology of renewable energy held in China-ASEAN Education and Training Center in Kuming, Alexanderlim, the director of ASEAN secretariat , expressed that both China and ASEAN have abundant renewable energies and great market demands, both parties will complement each other’s advantages, jointly expand technologies of renewable energy and the market for highly efficient energy saving products, and dedicate to creation of a low-carbon economic society.
