(CAEA Net News), On 27 September, 2007, CAEA Chairman Mr. Sun Qin met with Mr. Mukhtar Dzhakishev, President of KazAtomProm and the delegation led by him. The two sides had friendly talks on global trend of nuclear energy development, uranium resources development and so on. Mr. Sun briefed him on China’s policy of encouraging enterprises of non-public ownership to participate in nuclear power development and outlined current situation of nuclear power development in China. He also said China supports enterprises of the two countries to carry out cooperation in the area of nuclear energy.
