[CAEA net news] On October 28, 2005，Mr. Sun Qin, Vice Minister of COSTIND and Chairman of CAEA met with Mr. Amaud de Bourayne, AREVA China President. 

Mr. Amaud de Bourayne briefed Mr.Sun of the recent progress of cooperative projects between AREVA and Chinese counterparts in the fields of uranium exploration and mining, nuclear fuel production, reprocessing, vitrification and hoped to obtain relevant support from Chinese government in this regard.  

Mr. Sun appreciated the cooperative exchange carried out by both sides and assured the support of Chinese government to the cooperation in the fields of uranium exploration and mining, uranium conversion and etc between China and foreign countries.　He wished this collaboration could be pushed deeper and more further. Upon the request of French guests, Mr. Sun notified Mr. Amaud de Bourayne of the progress of bidding projects of Third Generation Nuclear Technology and Vitrification. In the end, Mr. Sun expressed his sincere gratitude toward AREVA for its active participation in the development of Chinese Nuclear Energy and hoped the enterprises of France and China could maintain the good bilateral relationship and mutually promote further development.
