[News form China Atomic Energy Authority] (by Gu Xinping)  On September 1,2004,Mr. Zhang Huazhu, Vice Minister of Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (COSTIND) and Chairman of China Atomic Energy Authority (CAEA), made an introduction of China’s peaceful uses of nuclear and answered questions on the status quo and development prospect of China’s nuclear energy in the press conference held by the State Council Information Office.

Zhang Jing, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of COSTIND, and Xu Yuming, vice secretary-general of Expert Consultation Committee of COSTIND attended the press conference and answered questions.
