(CAEA News) on 28th September, 2007, CAEA Chairman Mr.Sun Qin attended the signing ceremony of the Strategic Framework Agreement on Cooperation between KazAtomProm and China National Nuclear Corporation（CNNC）.

Mr.Sun said at the ceremony that CNNC has complete industrial system and rich experiences in nuclear power development and nuclear fuel cycle. KazAtomProm is a new star in the international nuclear industry and blessed with rich natural uranium resources. The two will complement with each other through cooperation. I hope that the two sides could seize this great opportunity of global nuclear renaissance, face up to the challenges and deepen cooperation with a view to seeking new achievements based on the signature of the Agreement.

Mr. Kang Rixin, President of CNNC and Mr. Mukhtar Dzhakishev, President of KazAtomProm signed the Strategic Framework Agreement.
