中国北山地下实验室助力核能可持续发展
Beishan Underground Research Laboratory Helps Sustainable Development of Nuclear Energy
1985 年,核工业北京地质研究院(下称“核地研院”)开始从事高放废物地质处置研究,为推进研发进程,在 CAEA 的
支持下积极选派技术人员参与 IAEA 相关会议、研讨班、培训班。1999 年,核地研院开启了在此领域同 IAEA 的长期合作,
二十余年来申报并实施了 8 项高放废物地质处置技术合作项目,全面提升了我国高放废物地质处置研发技术能力。
2021 年中国北山地下实验室开工建设,成立了中国 CAEA 高放废物地质处置创新中心和全球首个 IAEA 高放废物地质处
置协作中心。2022 年,实验室建设核心装备全球首台大坡度螺旋隧道硬岩掘进机“北山一号”研制成功并下线施工。北山地
下实验室预计于 2028 年建成。核地研院将以该协作中心为重要平台,通过开展协作研究、举办国际会议、组织培训班等方式,
分享中国在高放废物地质处置技术领域的实践和经验。

In 2021, the Beishan Underground Research Laboratory (URL)
stated construction and designated as the CAEA HLW Geological
Disposal Innovation Center and the IAEA HLW Geological Disposal
Collaborating Center. In 2022, the key equipment for the laboratory
construction, the world's first tunnel boring machine tailor-made
for large-inclination & small- rotation project, “Beishan-1,” was
successfully developed and put into operation. It is expected
that the Beishan URL will be built in 2028. In the future, BRIUG
will make the best use of the IAEA Collaborating Center for HLW
Geological Disposal to share China's experience in the field of
HLW geological disposal through joint research, international
conferences and training courses.
